Many Jews survived the holocaust due to organizations and people who helped them. Some people helped hide Jews in places. Jews also escaped from European nations to find
refuge in Sweden and others hid in forests.People who helped Jews survive were, Anfonin Kalina, Ivan Vranetic etc. Many people had to help each other during the Holocaust, in order to escape from the Nazis. It was a big risk for many Jews to do that. Soon the U.S government and soldiers came over to help out the Jews in the Holocaust. The survivors of the Jews were luckily okay and safe when the soldiers came to help them out. These survivors of the Holocaust were provided materials, clothes, appliances, and a new home to live in. Some Jews decided to move to different places around the United states. The most prominent examples of countries that tried to help are the Netherlands, Poland
,Greece ,France, Belgium, Denmark, Bulgaria , Portugal , Spain , Lithuania
,Albania, Finland , Italy, and Norway. No matter how many people helped
6,000,000 Jewish people still died and that was only half of the people
slaughtered. The Holocaust ended in 1945 “when the allied
forces occupied Germany
and discovered concentration camps with abused inmates. However, the holocaust may have ended already
but it is still hard to forget as it was very brutal, heinous, and horrific.
